League Rules

Bishop Wilton - October 13th

Very rural setting. Starting from the village, then climbing a very steep hill and heading off across fields before returning down another very steep hill to the village. 5.7 miles (Home Club - Pocklington R)

Welton - November 17th

A mixture of woods and farm tracks which take in parts of the Wolds Way. 6.5 miles (Home Clubs - Goole Viking & Selby Striders)

Wetwang - Feb 2nd (re-arranged venue & date)

New Venue for 2023 incorporating the Cleveland Way and Cinder Track. 6 miles (Home Clubs - Scarborough & Yorkshire Wolds Runners)

Sledmere Estate - Feb 16th (re-arranged date)

The course is 2 laps around the estate grounds of Sledmere House. 7 miles (Home Club - Driffield Striders).

Drewton Woods - Feb 9th

Return to Drewton for 2023 with improved route. 6.6 miles (Home Club -Beverley AC & City of Hull AC)

Sewerby - March 2nd

Start & Finish is on cliff top. The course takes in the ancient land mark of Dane's Dyke then heads off across the fields to Flamborough and returns along the cliff-top path to Sewerby. PLEASE USE THE FREE PARKING AT SEWERBY HALL. TOILETS ARE AVAILABLE THERE AS WELL. WE DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO PARK AT THE SHIP INN. 5.3 miles (Home Club - Bridlington RR)

Competing Clubs

Beverley AC, Bridlington RR, City of Hull AC, Driffield Striders, East Hull Harriers, Goole Viking Striders, Pocklington Runners, Scarborough AC, Selby Striders, Yorkshire Wolds Runners & Pickering RC. Entry fee is £16 for the season to BRR Club Members. Race numbers are to be retained for all races. Due to increasing popularity from participating Clubs, limited facilities at rural village venues and the nature of the routes, Entry has had to be restricted to 1st claim Senior members of participating Clubs only and regrettably guest runners are not now permitted.
